Horse: Kingsley
Mandy started riding in high school where she grew up in Dublin, Ohio. After she went to Ohio University she started working as an electrical engineer for AEP.
How did she get started reining? Mandy had a rescue horse that needed broke. Her vet gave her, NRHA Professional, Roger Smiths recommendation. Once she watched other horses and clients at the barn, she decided she wanted to try Reining. Now, Mandy loves the challenge!! Her goal this year is to get better every time. “Right now I’m really slow” says Jenkins. Running fast and sliding is in her future.
Above all the fun of riding and learning you may find Mandy on the sidelines cheering for other riders!
